An emphasis towards comprehensive musicianship is offered. Through a variety of learning activities, a student's musical understanding and skills are extended. This makes for a musically rich and authentic experience during the lesson time and while performing music for oneself or for others. Lessons of reading, music theory, technique and expressive interpretation are offered. Upon practice and advancement, students enjoy playing the music of various styles with classical music serving as the core of studies. The students' individual learning approaches are acknowledged and incorporated into the process and the progress of learning. | Daily practice at home is required. Students’ parents encourage & support a daily practice routine & a quiet practice area. An acoustic piano or a weighted-key digital piano in the student’s home is also very important. Good practice habits enable the smoothest of progress which then leads to musical self-fulfillment and musical self-expression. Upon readiness, ensemble playing experiences enhance the student's musical growth and proficiency. ©2022-2023 K. G. Logan
